Something good is happening.
It’s happening all around us.
Planet Earth is not destined for destruction but renewal as God fulfils his promise!

God made this world and loves it.
All of it! So much so that Jesus died to reconcile both the human and non-human creation back to God.
God is on a radical mission of redemption and restoration.
A New Creation is being formed even as you read this webpage.
Would you like to be part of this?
Naumai ki New Creation New Zealand, which is a charitable trust established in 2018.
We exist to advance God’s ongoing agenda to renew all things, to foster and facilitate this transformation as much as we possibly can.
In particular, we want to help the Church participate more fully and more intentionally in this mission.
Our aim is to motivate and mobilise the Christian community of Aotearoa/New Zealand (you) to become actively involved on the front lines in caring for “our place”, seeing nature and people transformed in the process!

Quietly, locally, and with enduring impact.
How can we serve and lead where we are planted?
An extract from The Lausanne/WEA Creation Care Network (LWCCN) monthly global newsletter “The Pollinator”, 6 January 2026:
In an unexpected early Christmas surprise, Chris Elisara, Director of the WEA Sustainability Center, heard from an old colleague in New Zealand, Phillip Donnell, who sent a personal note along with a copy of his 2024 book, Eco-Incites: Cogent Comments on Creation Care for Such a Time as This.
It’s not only a good book and a rich creation care resource, weaving together poems, studies, essays, articles, and reflections; it is also a reminder of the deep, thoughtful, and faithful creation care work emerging from home-grown ministries—often quietly, locally, and with enduring impact.
The book is one of the resources produced by New Creation New Zealand, a creation care ministry Phillip founded to serve Christians and churches across Aotearoa New Zealand.
It stands as a reminder that some of the most faithful and impactful creation care leadership is born close to home.
Whether in a local church, neighborhood, region, or nation, meaningful engagement with God’s creation does not depend on large platforms or global recognition.
It begins with hearts attentive to God’s call, imaginations shaped by hope, and courageous action rooted in the places where we are planted.
As we enter a new year, may the faithful witness of Phillip—who has pursued his calling to care for creation for most of his life—and the work of New Creation New Zealand encourage each of us to reflect: What does faithful creation care look like here, and how can we serve and lead where we are planted?
